appointment scheduling

We are open to see patients, answer questions or schedule an appointment during the following hours: Monday-Thursday from 8-5 and Friday from 8-noon.

When making an appointment, we will attempt to accommodate your schedule as best we can. Preschool children should be seen in the morning because they are fresher and we can work more slowly with the child for their comfort. School children with a lot of work to be done should be seen in the morning for the same reason. It is necessary to appoint our patients according to the behavioral needs of the individual child. While after school times are very popular, they are limited. We appreciate your understanding in this matter and will assist in providing you with any required letters to your child’s school.

Your child’s appointment is reserved specifically for them. Therefore we ask that you please make every effort to commit to the time appointed for your child – we have. If you need to reschedule an appointment, please contact our office at least 48 business hours in advance. This will allow us to use that time for another patient. Should you miss two appointments without notification, we may ask you to seek care from another dentist who may be able to accommodate your scheduling conflicts.

Prior to providing treatment at each appointment, all work intended will be reviewed and a treatment consent form will need to be signed. We require that parents remain at the clinic while their child is receiving treatment. Should you have any questions that arise during treatment a member of our staff will be available to answer them.

We look forward to making your child a FID-KID and part of our First Impressions Family.

accepted insurance types

First Impressions accepts all insurance plans but is the preferred provider for several specific insurance companies. As a convenience to our patients, we will be happy to file your claim for you provided we have received all of your insurance information on the day of the appointment. Please review your benefits so you are familiar with them when you arrive for your appointment. Be prepared to fill out information as completely as possible so as not to delay your claims processing and payment. By law, your insurance company is required to pay each claim within 30 days of receipt. We file all insurance claims electronically so your insurance company will receive each claim within days of the treatment. You are responsible for any balance on your account after 30 days, whether insurance has paid or not. We will be glad to send a refund to you once insurance has paid First Impressions. In addition, insurance co-payments are due at the time of service.

Please remember that your insurance coverage is a contract between you and your carrier and that you are ultimately responsible for payment of all charges. We ask that you promptly pay the amount indicated on your statement. If necessary, payment arrangements may be made with our office.

If you do not have insurance we are happy to provide our services to you as long as you have accepted responsibility for payment. Payment is requested within 30 days of the statement date unless prior arrangements have been made with our office. Please contact us for more information about our convenient payment options.

Our office can be reached Monday – Thursday from 8-5 and Friday from 8-noon at 844-343-5437.

MOST IMPORTANTLY, please keep us informed of any insurance changes such as policy name, insurance company address, or a change of employment.
