Dr. Mark Shaw

Hello! I’m Dr. Mark Shaw. Thank you for the opportunity to provide your child’s dental healthcare. As a pediatric dentist, I received two additional years of training and instruction on the care of children above and beyond dental school. (In my case, this pediatric dentistry residency occurred at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia).

What I most enjoy about pediatric dentistry is seeing a patient happy after accomplishing something they were initially scared to do. Many times I hear, “I did it!”What a great feeling, as a dental care provider. Being a dentist is very gratifying. I’m also passionate about educating others within the community how important it is for a child to see a dentist by age one. Establishing healthy habits early is integral to preventing decay and maintaining oral health.
