First Impressions Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics

Hello! I’m Dr. Kendal Lane. I love providing quality oral health care to children in a fun, empowering manner. Seeing a child walk out of a dental appointment proud of themselves is so rewarding! I am extremely excited to join the First Impressions team and to meet your family.

I am originally from Columbus, Ohio. My mother always worked with children and this inspired me to find a career in which I could do the same. I also really loved science, and dentistry was a perfect combination of the two!

I went to Miami University (Ohio) and completed my undergraduate degree in Marketing. Dental school at Marquette University originally brought me to Wisconsin. I spent four amazing years living in Milwaukee and truly fell in love with the entire state. Throughout dental school, I enjoyed volunteering with children through our Pediatrics Club and Special Care Dental Association. Pursuing specialty training in pediatrics was my dream! I completed my pediatrics residency at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, where I served as Chief Resident. Although I enjoyed my time in Pennsylvania, I missed Wisconsin too much to stay away. I am extremely excited to move to my fiancé Alex’s hometown of Appleton!

When I’m not taking care of tiny teeth, I am watching football, spending time outside, or trying new restaurants. I can’t wait to explore more of Wisconsin and attend Packers games!
