First Impressions Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics

Welcome to First Impressions, I’m Dr. Meghan Nation.   I am very excited to have joined the First Impressions team in my hometown of Wausau!  After graduating from Newman Catholic High School, I earned my Bachelors of Science degree in Neurobiology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

My summer breaks during college were spent working as a dental assistant for my father, Dr. Carl Hash.  I was immediately intrigued by both the science and the art of dentistry and was inspired to pursue it as a career.  I earned my doctorate of dental surgery degree from The University of Iowa.  Through my experience in the pediatric dental clinic during dental school, I realized that I really enjoyed working with children.  After dental school I pursued advanced training in pediatric dentistry and completed my pediatric dental residency at Children’s Hospital of Michigan.  I enjoy and value having a role in creating positive dental experiences in young patients to facilitate a lifetime of great dental visits and healthy smiles!
